Information Meeting for Storm Water Drainage
An information meeting was held on Sept. 29, 2008 at the
Village Hall at 6:30 pm. This meeting was held on an
informal basis for input from residents in regards to
the storm water drainage study,
The meeting was called to order by David Happ, the
Village engineer, along with Tom Overmyer, Project
Director, and Greg Kacvinsky, Senior Project Manager
with the company of Foth Infrastructure and Environment,
LLC.
Those in attendance included President Jim Morgan,
Trustees Brad Williams, Lyle Shoraga, Ron Price, and
Terry Lovekamp, and Cris Perry.
Dave explained to residents that this meeting was called
to listen to the communities input and to mark the
provided maps with drainage concerns. The company wants
to incorporate these concerns into the study of the
drainage system. They would also like to update the old
storm sewer maps. The company would like to get a model
to figure out how to fix the drainage, and to prioritize
the major problems. A report to summarize the study will
be given to the Board for review. The primary problems
would be those that have water standing for at least
four days.
Dave invited individuals to the table as they marked
maps and left any photos they may have of their
properties. The community had a chance to meet with the
Foth Company as well as the Board members to voice their
concerns.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm by Mayor Morgan.
