ORDINANCE NO. 386

 

 

            BE IT ORDAINED by the President & Board of Trustees of the Village of Cerro

 

Gordo as follows:

 

            Beginning May 1, 1988, and for eleven (11) consecutive months thereafter (for a total of twelve (12) months), a surcharge of $10.00 per month shall be charged for each water user and shall be added to the monthly water bills.

 

            For clarification, each one-family residence shall be charged $10.00 per month; each additional family in the same residence shall be charged an additional $10.00 per month; each unit in an apartment building shall be charged $10.00 per month; each meter in the Cerro Gordo Schools shall be charged $10.00 per month per meter; each meter for industrial use shall be charged $10.00 per month for each incoming meter.

 

            The surcharge shall automatically terminate after the twelve (12) monthly charges have been paid.

 

            BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that, beginning May 1, 1989, the following water

 

Rates shall be applicable:

 

            The minimum charge for 2,500 gallons or less shall be $7.00;

 

            An additional charge for each 10 gallons used over 2,500 gallons but less than 4,500 gallons shall be six cents (.06);

 

            An additional charge for each 10 gallons used over 4,500 gallons shall be two cents (.02);

 

            THIS ORDINANCE was presented , approved, and passed on March 7, 1988, by

 

Aye and nay votes at which time all six (6) Trustees voted aye and none voted nay and is,

 

Therefore, to be immediately effective.
