ORDINANCE NUMBER 431

DESIGNATION OF HANDICAPPED PARKING

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the VILLAGE OF CERRO GORDO, Piatt County, Illinois, as follows:

1. Pursuant to Paragraph 8.211, “Handicapped Parking”, of ARTICLE 2, “Traffic and Parking” of the “Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cerro Gordo, Piatt County, Illinois” passed on June 19, 1995, the Village Board hereby designates the following as “Handicapped Parking”:

On the East side of the American Bank located at 101 S. Madison Street,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois;

On the West side of Hope Welty Library located at 100 S. Madison Street,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois;

On the East side of the Municipal Building located at 103 S. Monroe Street,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois;

On the North side of the restaurant located at 221 E. South Street,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois;

On the South side of Central Park located at 115 E. Hunt Street,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois; and

On the North side of Gordy Park located at 551 Abraham,

Cerro Gordo, Illinois.

2. The Village Board further directs that said spaces shall be designated by the appropriate handicapped parking emblem.

3. Pursuant to Paragraph 8.211, “Handicapped Parking”, of ARTICLE 2, “Traffic and Parking” of the “Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cerro Gordo, Piatt County, Illinois” passed on June 19, 1995, the Village Board hereby changes Paragraph C by deleting “Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($50.00)” and in lieu thereof inserting “Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($200.00)”.

4. This Ordinance was presented, approved, and passed by unanimous ballot this 2^nd day of June, 1997, at which time there were 4 “aye” votes and 0 “nay” votes and shall take effect ten (10) days after same is published in The News Record, a newspaper located in Piatt County, Illinois.
